How to Measure Your Foot

  • Measure at the end of the day when feet are at their largest.
  • Stand on a flat surface and trace your foot on paper. Measure the longest point (heel to longest toe) in inches or centimeters.
  • If one foot is larger, size to the larger foot.

Wide-Toe Box Positioning

  • The square toe box is engineered for wide feet — your toes should lie flat with no lateral pinching.
  • You should feel approximately ½" (12 mm) of space between your longest toe and the toe cap.
  • If your foot slides forward when you walk downhill, try the next half-size down.

Sock Allowance

  • These boots are fitted with a standard work sock in mind (4–6 mm thickness).
  • For thick thermal socks, consider sizing up half a size.
  • Avoid very thin dress socks — they reduce ankle support and increase friction.

Break-In Expectations

  • Days 1–3: Wear for 2–4 hours to let the pull-up leather begin to mold to your foot shape.
  • Days 4–7: Extend to full workday use. Mild stiffness at the ankle is normal and will ease.
  • Week 2+: The double-density sole will flex more naturally and the upper will develop its characteristic pull-up patina.
  • Applying a small amount of leather conditioner after day 3 accelerates the break-in process.
